Bukasa is a densely populated community covering about one square mile. While the surrounding roads accommodate vehicles, travel within the village is primarily on foot or by boda boda (motorcycle). Ever Increasing Miracle Church and Ever Increasing Children’s Center are located at the main eastern entrance, with the school’s rented playfield near the northwest entrance.
Most families rent modest homes or business spaces ranging from mud-and-bamboo structures with dirt floors to simple one- or two-room concrete units without indoor plumbing. Meals are cooked outdoors over charcoal fires. Limited utilities, poor sanitation, and seasonal rains make daily life especially challenging.
